The WINNER of the two(2) tickets to the Rams vs 49ers football game in St. Louis,is Robert Mosier. Robert came in and picked up the ticket just in time to have a few photo's taken with his winning tickets for an article in the East Peoria Times which will be in Next weeks issue of the East Peoria Times. I had never been in the Edward Jones Dome before. We (my brother- in- law and I) were sitting right next to the TV camera's. AWESOME SEATS!!! Perfect view from goal post to goal post.

I think I'll have to get a cut every week so I can try to win that Valentines Basket.

We had a new flag put up in front of the shop by the sign at the road side. There have been a few Customers who have informed us that they did not see the sign out front, this should help everyone find the Barber Shop much more easily. Thank You for the input!!!

Hope this finds you all well and staying warm. We got lucky again and misses all the bad weather this past two days, but it would be nice to have a very white Christmas. I know I'm one of few..but I love the snow!!!

To pass the time here at the shop, with business being slow due to the weather Tuesday ..I put up the Christmas tree for the Holiday. Its just inside the door to greet all as they come in.

Just a fast reminder the Barber Shop will be closing Christmas Eve the 24th at,3:30 and will be closed for the week-end. We will reopen Tuesday December the 29th at 9:00a.m.

It's been a little while since I posted any information on the shop. Lets see how much I can fill you all in.
Thanksgiving is coming up this week and the shop will close at 3:00 on Wednesday and be closed Thursday, Thanksgiving Day. I will be open on Friday and Saturday regular hours.
It's been going fine here and Thanks to all who have helped me come this far with the barbershop. You are all truly fantastic people!!!
Have a new barbershop sign to put up out by the rode with the other one. Hope it catches a lot of eyes.
Christmas is coming along fast and my hours for the holiday season will be... shop will close at 3:30 Christmas Eve and I will be closed till Tuesday December 29th. As for New Years Day I will be close New Years Day, Friday January 1, 2010 and Saturday January 2, 2010. We'll see you Tuesday January 4th at 9:00a.m.
I hope you all have a great Holiday season and lots of Joy fills your heart.

PLANING FOR THE NEW YEAR!!!
Hope to have a shampoo area and shaving area in by the end of March 2010. Have had a lot of people wanting to know about those straight razor shaves, so I'm going to help them out. I will have to charge for the shave separate from the hair cut but you will see a break if you get a haircut and shave at the same time. Looking forward to doing them!!!

I went shopping at Kohl's Sunday afternoon, as I was checking out I used one of the store's one day coupons. When the checker handed it back to me (knowing I wouldn't use it any more) I passed it back to the young man next in line. Well...... he looked at me with the strangest look and ask "what's this" I told him a 15%off coupon to use. I think he was a little shocked... And I do believe this act in turn came back to me as one of my new customers came in and gave me the new Neon OPEN sign for the shop front window. I ask him what he wanted for it and he said nothing he was just glad someone could use it. I hope he gets a pay back on his act of kindness and soon. He's business has had to close due to the lack of business.

It shines nicely out the front window....don't you think so????

My Ad has paid off so far. I was busy today and had some of my old customers from the other shop find me. What a really wonderful surprise to see them again.

My Girl Friend stopped by and gave me a really beautiful boston fern, it's huge! Takes up a big area by my paintings area. Looks really nice. Hope I can keep it alive!!! I really needed something like that to fill in the floor space..... as you can see.
